Vijay Suraksha Realty has been spearheading the concept of "Vehicle Free Streets in Thane" through the "Happy Streets" module in collaboration with the Times of India. Since 2015, every Sunday morning has seen more than 5000 to 15000 people on Smt. Gladys Alwares Road and similar other streets come alive with eventful activities to inculcate the spirit of Fitness, Art, Culture, Tradition, Sport, Music, Dance, & much more in Thanekars.
